It changes everything...
That belly up there is going to change it all for you.
Seriously.
Every time we meet someone who's pregnant and they ask us what to expect we tell them to expect a whole new life.
That's what's going to happen.
Everything you thought you knew about life--yours in particular--is going to change as soon as that new life is introduced into yours.
To lesser degree, when you give birth to something new that's not a baby, say an idea, a dream, a business, a relationship.
Whenever you stick your neck out there and dare to dream. Whenever you take steps to pursue that dream, you're opening yourself up to be hurt.
Making yourself vulnerable.
There's no other way to slice it.
New things bring pain, risk, danger, stress...
And lots and lots of joy.
