Culture...
Yup, that's what came up when we googled 'culture images'. Some sandals in a third world country.
Culture.
We had a shared cultural experience last night. Did you see it?
The Grammy's.
What'd you think?
Did it reflect you, your culture, and your proclivities?
That's the challenge with doing 'mass media'. You're trying to reach as broad an audience as possible, but to do that, you have to reconcile yourself to the fact that you're never going to please any segment of your audience completely.
The Yo Yo Ma fans will want less Kanye. The Weezy fans will want less country.
It's tough, this 'projecting culture' thing.
