Comfort...

mac n cheese

Yes, that's a bowl of mac 'n cheese, my favorite 'comfort food'.  Don't you feel better already?

On today's show you'll get to meet a lady who got the seed idea for her rapidly expanding, super-successful business on a day that saw most of America weeping.  Out of her desire to do something that encouraged people came her great idea and big break.

Then, you'll meet a man who runs one of Vancouver's top mid-size businesses.  The guy is an adventurer, an entrepreneur, a family-guy, and has suffered so many setbacks it's a marvel he keeps going and, what's really amazing is that--as he keeps going--he keeps succeeding.

Then, you'll see LL eating cupcakes.

Then you'll hear Coach Mark talk about some of the 'losing' he's done and he'll tell you that losing is mostly what life as a football player and coach is made up of, no matter how good the team, and that should remind you that the same is mostly true in most of our lives.

And that's why LL is eating cupcakes and that's why I'm eating mac 'n cheese.

'Cause sometimes you got to admit that life is just hard and you need to eat.

THE DAILY: weekend edition

Provocatively transparent, relevant, and inspiring, THE DAILY: weekend edition is what happens when an ex-preacher loses his religion, finds his faith, and gets a national talk TV show to rant on and a bunch of leading intellectuals, politicians, captains of industry and pop-culture mavens to rant with.
