The Conservatives...
Stephen Harper meets the family...
So a pitcture's supposed to be worth a thousand words, right?
From this one it looks like Mr. Harper's really interested in what those little girls are talking to him about and the little girls' parents look like they're really proud to have snatched this moment with the man most likely to be Canada's next Prime Minister. The boy on-screen in the background with the hockey helmet says "Heck, yes we know what this country's really all about...'

And we wonder if Mr. Harper and his party really care about our families? It seems like courting the family vote is a key part of their campaign this time around. What with sweater-vest commercials and pictures like these we're bound to expect a kinder gentler leader of the Conservatives this time 'round.
'Course, half of us will be voting for Mr. Harper precisely because he's not that kind or gentle but, rather, is known as a shrewd, tough, smart--ruthless even--political genius.
You don't run the most successful minority government in history just by being nice.
Either way, and whatever you think about this race, you can tune us in tonight to get the Conservative take on what our country looks like under their governance.
