Laura-Lynn's bio

LAURA-LYNN TYLER THOMPSON
Laura-Lynn was born in Uganda, East Africa. Her family was deported in
1973 by the evil dictator Idi Amin. Her father was taken late one night
from their home by army soldiers and they were given 48 hours to leave. Her
father had witnessed the murder of the mayor of Masaka, Uganda, their town,
only one block from their home by an army general. It was unclear if her
father would be released alive. Her father, David Freeman was accused of
being a CIA agent and deported and thankfully released to join the family in
Nairobi, Kenya. Laura-Lynn then lived in Tuktoyaktuk, NWT for three years.
Now, comedic speaker and national television host, Laura-Lynn Tyler Thompson,
